Who are Pixiwoo aka Samantha Chapman and Nicola Haste and what are their YouTube channel make-up tutorials?

The sisters from Norwich run the vlogging channel which has over five hundred makeup tutorials and product review videos

BEAUTY bloggers Pixiwoo started their YouTube channel ten years ago and were one of the original makeup tutorial teams online.

Here is the lowdown on the Glamour Women of the Year 2017 winners, and what makes their makeup tutorial so special to millions of viewers around the world.

Who are Pixiwoo?

Samantha Chapman, 40, and her sister Nicola Haste, 37, are professional makeup artists who wanted to share the tricks of the trade without being it being intimidating.

Sam had been a makeup artist for more than a decade as part of the MAC Pro team, where she worked with celebrities including Paul McCartney, Peaches Geldof and Myleene Klass.

They launched their channel in 2008 after a friend asked Samantha how to do a smoky eye - so when people started asking for other looks, they decided to make online tutorials.

As Sam had just had her first child, sister Nic helped out with the videos and they soon made the Pixiwoo channel, dubbed after Nic's childhood nickname.

They now have three channels including the original, with PixiwooMadness, dedicated to videos not suited to their main outlet, and Real Techniques, to promote brushes.
