What is in a chocolate milkshake?
Crammed with as many chocolaty ingredients as possible, this shake is a rich blend of chocolate ice cream, chocolate milk, and chocolate syrup. Most recipes stop there, however, for an even more chocolaty oomph, this shake is topped with a swirl of cocoa whipped cream. A drizzle of chocolate syrup, a few shavings of dark chocolate, and/or a dash of chocolate sprinkles and this shake is sure to compete with local ice cream shops for the most devilishly decadent chocolate milkshake.
Can you make a chocolate milkshake without a blender?
Donât have a blender? No worries! A little bit of elbow grease and youâll have a smooth, sippable milkshake in no time. Simply add the ice cream, milk, and syrup to a large mixing bowl. With a whisk or rubber spatula, combine all the ingredients until the milk is incorporated and the mixture is smooth. Spoon the mixture into a cup and enjoy!
What is the difference between a milkshake and a frappeÌ?
A milkshake is a blended or shaken frothy drink made of milk, ice cream, and flavorings. A frappeÌ is a dessert made of partially frozen liquids such as fruit juice or a drink made of a liquid poured over shaved ice. Starbucks famously made their rich and creamy frappuccinos with the latter method by blending coffee, milk, and flavorings with crushed ice.
