Personal Experience of HSCT

Nicola Chapman Haste

My father passed away from MS so I made the decision I wanted to do all I could to fight this disease to the best of my ability. I had HSCT in Mexico 2 years ago and documented it for social media. Upon my return I tried to get as much press and awareness for this procedure as i possibly could, appearing on various news channels and in many main stream magazines.
Whilst I was in Mexico , I kept thinking there must be some way of getting more people to know about HSCT. I spent a few hours having a look around and then I came across AIMS charity and I instantly contacted Alison to ask how I can help. Turns out AIMS chariity actually ended up helping me by counselling me through the after care of my HSCT.
