After dating for a decade, Jewel and rodeo cowboy Ty Murray were married in the Bahamas in 2008. She gave birth to their son, Kase Townes Murray, on July 11, 2011. In 2014, after nearly six years of marriage, the couple divorced.

Both "Intuition" and its follow-up single "Stand" became number one Dance/Club hits. In May 2006, her sixth album Goodbye Alice in Wonderland was released, reaching No. 8 in the United States. Jewel released her first country album Perfectly Clear in June 2008.

Her work has previously appeared on Elle, HGTV and Backstage. Jewel is a proud mother to her son, Kase. The “You Were Meant For Me” singer welcomed her only child in July 2011 with her then-husband Ty Murray. Though the two split three years later, they maintain an amicable co-parenting relationship.
