Well I guess after a year of usage Its disappointing to say that it is not that of great phone. It had a big manufacturing fault which was its annoying hard buttons (Came off after 4 months). Overheating and many glitches. Annoying Telephoto Lens Shift made videos pathetically poor.

Random Heating issue when using 5g enough to cause it to shut down.
Stopped working randomly for me after an update 3 days ago. Used it since feb 2023.
Pretty smooth otherwise, had bought it for night photography but isn't all that better in the price range anyways.

Awesome camera and software , the only issue is the heating issue
this gets heats up even when using Instagram and dims the display.
same if you are recording 4k videos.
on day to day tasks, this is very fast and smooth
by far the smoothest os experience in Android world.
no issues with fingerprint and face unlock also, works perfectly everytime.

Anonymous, 24 Apr 2024Does the Pixel 7 pro has heating issue? I had 6 pro a year ... moreI have the P7 Pro and it can get warm during use, the only time it ever gets truly hot is using it while outdoors under the sun but that is pretty obvious and all previous phones behaved the same.
But browsing/social media etc it heats up to similar degree was the S23 (base) I had used even slightly less due to larger size. Using on WiFi also helps as the modem is not as efficient as others.

This is my third Pixel phone. My first was a 5 XL.
The next was a 6 Pro. I had to replace that one when I inadvertently dropped it from a height onto a concrete surface.
Now I have a Pixel 7 Pro with 256 GB of memory and use it extensively. I have about a dozen Beta applications on it. It has had issues, but I believe that due to the beta applications not “playing well with each other.”
I am planning on holding off until the Pixel 9 series comes out this fall before deciding if I want to upgrade.
The keys on the virtual keyboard is so small it is difficult to type a message on it so it either use the “voice typing” and dictate my message but I find I must carefully proof-read the message before sending it. I’ve addressed part of that problem by using Microsoft Phone Link application to link my Pixel 7 Pro to my laptop.
The battery holds up very well through the day, but that is if you are not constantly using it. You will need ot give it a rest. It all depends on how much you are using it.

these endurance ratings are very flawed.. my 7 pro has noticeably better battery life than my last samsung i replaced which had a much higher battery rating the the 7 pro (go figure?) ..
great battery life, shouldnt be a concern tbh
