This is almost enough to make a motorhead cry -- a wrecked Ferrari 458 Italia, cracked like an egg and discarded like an old Yugo. But it's all in the name of progress.
The guys at Wrecked Exotics -- always a good place to kill some time at work -- have gotten their mitts on what appear to be photos of at least two crash-tested 458 Italias stashed under tarps in Maranello. The most surprising thing here is how good the incredibly awesome 458 Italia looks in teal.
More pics at Wrecked Exotics, where they're holding a contest to determine when some squid with more money than talent wraps his 458 Italia around a tree. The guy (or gal) who comes closest to the date gets $500, so check it out. Since these crashes were intentional, they don't count in the contest.
Look for the 458 Italia in showrooms next summer.
