top quality products

We are very happy with choosing Flexa. We found the price high but we are still happy we went with Flexa because the details make an actual difference.
There is detailed thinking put in the products to allow for cable storage, lighting etc. The texture, proportions and overall feel is excellent.
The ordering was easy and the delivery very fast.
The quality of the wood is very good and once assembled the pieces are robust and can take a lot of weight.

We are only sad we measured wrongly and did not order an additional cupboard that we need and now cannot have free shipping for that piece.

A couple of suggestions from a user's point of view:

For the Schreibtisch Überbau:
The order of the assembly should be modified. We ordered 2 pieces. For the first we followed the steps of the instructions booklet. It was extremely difficult to place the back piece. It needed a lot of force to slide it in and took a lot of effort and time. For the second, we put the back pieces early in, and we assembled to whole thing in no time.
Also, we think that the shleves will look significantly prettier if Flexa gives plastic cups (white or in the colour of the wood) to cover the visible screws.

Long shiping

Shipping took 3 weeks (3-4 days advertised) and because I asked Customer Service, if not I'd still be waiting.

Have not mounted the products yet as we are doing some construction work at home, but I hope the fact that I paid for this 2-3X what would cost in IKEA, really shows.

Horrible quality, High price

I bought two single beds from Flexa. After couple of months of using them they became extremely noisy just with small movement. Also wood of shelves is horrible quality and the colors don't correspond. I am very disappointed. I have just sent the reclamation email and I hope it will be resolved soon. Thanks god I didn't pay full price for all products. To be avoided!!!

Bought 2 flex’s play beds and…

Bought 2 flex’s play beds and mattresses for my young kids. I paid extra for installation by the flex’s shop delivery team here in Athens Greece.
Within months they are creaking and shaking. Customer service didn’t follow up beyond saying not expected and the local store would reach out, which didn’t happen. The beds are in my view worse quality than ikea and I regret buying.

nice deak but rather bad quality

The desk is very nice but the quality of material (screws, connectors etc) is rather poor. Even IKEA can do better here. We bought it with a discount but I would not get that desk for the regular price.

Their furniture beautiful but there…

Their furniture beautiful but there customer service is definately something TO STAY AWAY FROM. I ordered a bed when they came to deliver and fix it they put in the wrong screws and BROKE the plank. Seriously? Anyhow they told me I needed to wait another month to get the spare part, after contacting Flexa as to assist in the time frame, after 25 days their answer was to speak to the store I purchased it from. What a JOKE. Obviously I cancelled the order.

Terrible customer service

One star cannot even express the terrible customer service and a product itself. The money you spend on this product is wasted. Delivery just called us in a middle of the day that they are at our door. No warning. And when we wanted to return something they require original packaging, but when original packaging is 20 layers of plastic that you have to remove to see the product, you cannot pack it back. So much money, for a terrible product, and terrible service

Thank you for your comments.

I can understand you have 3 issues with your purchase at Flexa:

1. The delivery contacted you on the day and didn't give proper warning
2. The requirement of original packaging
3. The product is terrible?

First and foremost, the delivery company should call you beforehand and arrange delivery. It is clearly not good enough they call on the day, and for that I apologise. I've addressed this with the delivery company.

Secondly you are concerned with packaging for return goods. In this matter we strictly follow the rules laid out in Danish Consumer Law, and the wording in our Terms and Conditions originates from here.
But after talking to Customer Service I've learned, that you e-mailed and asked them what to do with packaging when returning an item. Customer Service answer you the following day: "Of cause it can be difficult to wrap the mattress exactly as it was when you received it. It is not necessary with exactly this product. The important thing is that it is not damaged during transport back to the warehouse. So if you just want to make sure it is properly wrapped, then I think it's just fine"

And finally you wrote it was a terrible product. After having read the correspondence between you and Customer Service I cannot see any mentioning or complaint from you regarding the product at all. Perhaps you would be so kind to clarify this with me on flexa@flexa.dk.

Children’s tables - poor quality

We purchased two children’s tables for our boys and within a year and a half of use, the tables started to show bubbles, as well as large erupted bubbles within the laminate/varnish area. The quality is even worse than IKEA! For the price, I would have expected tables that would remain pristine enough to hand off to the next child. In our previous home, we purchased a cheap laminate table from Costco that has now lasted two sets of different children for 4 years, with not a scratch nor issue. Very disappointed in Flexa. Furthermore, we brought the tables back to the store since there is a five year warranty, but they would not honor the warranty saying it was wear and tear. My boys only use the table for artwork and homework... pencils and crayons on paper. I do not believe the bubbles in laminate are a result of simple drawing and coloring. The design of the Flexa pieces are beautiful indeed, but quality very questionable.

Missing order. Missing customer service.

I placed an order on the 11th March and I have still not received it. My order has supposedly been sent twice and returned to the Flexa warehouse both times, having never left Denmark.

I have contacted Flexa numerous times through different channels and only received a response once. On that occasion, I was given the excuse that there were problems with paperwork due to Brexit and a new invoicing system. I was assured that the parcel was on its way, but they did not know how far (?). This person was going to get an update for me, which never materialised (much like my order). I am now being met with radio silence.

I am in the process of arranging a chargeback through my bank. Flexa were quick to take my payment, but will not deliver the goods. Their customer service is non-existent, yet they have the time to post pretty pictures on social media daily.

VERY POOR QUALITY

We purchased a drawing desk. After assembly, there were three screws missing, the desk is wobbly, gaps in the mounting area, we had to actually drill screw holes because the pieces did not line up. Piece of junk and we are sending it back.

Excellent experience with FLEXA

I have bought three beds from Flexa over the past 3 years and they are all excellent quality compared to the other beds that I saw in FLY and IKEA. The solid block wood that they use is very strong and the design is simple and classic. I made bunk beds out of two of my beds, which worked very well and was very sturdy. The kit that joined the two beds on top of each other is easy to install, requires two people and over the past couple of years has been very reliable. Over the course of 3 years I have only had one slat come out of the bed, which was more due to my son walking and jumping on his bed. I would definitely recommend Flexa and when i called their office in Denmark they were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough to help. From reading the other reviews, I was wondering if I bought the same product from the same company. I've only had a very good experience!!.

Great product and fantastic customer service

They have great products, both in regards to quality and fitting the needs for children. They are on the pricey side, but given the good quality, its well justified.
I am genuinely impressed with the exceptional customer service provided by them. Their team exhibited a remarkable degree of helpfulness, flexibility, and understanding throughout my experience. Expensive and bad quality!

As we speak Im in the midst of mounting a drawer with a baby changing pad on top. The order from Babyshopse came late and with alot of mess, I was finallt relieved to receive it.
Then came the mounting. Complicated, I could handle that too between me and my husband.
The quality is the saddest part.
The furniture pieces are so sensitive and cracking just with a little nudge. I wish I went to Ikea or something. I was looking for the best of quality for the baby but I just lost money here. BAD QUALITY!

i bought 2 flexa beds from…

i bought 2 flexa beds from thessaloniki. i have them about 9 years. they creak and the woods fall all the time, sometimes with the mattress and the kid!! very dangerous!! two times they have sent a technician to fix them....
im very dissapointed...

The best service you can get

I bought several years ago a sleeping bed for my youngest son. Because he grow out of it I made someone else happy with the bed. When they install the bed there were some screws missing. I wrote Flexa about the problem and without any problem they send new screws to me without costs. So better service you can not get.

Flexa - feeling insecure letting our kids sleep in it.

The key feature with a bunk bed to kids is safety. Exactly therefore we chose Flexa to be sure to get quality and a solution that could grow with our kids. But after one year. Totally normal usage. The bottom of the bed fell down. Fortunately nothing happen, but would it have been the top bed it could have been really a disaster. And after politely contacting them and informing on the issue we still need help. So we have a bed our girl can not sleep in. And we get no help. We where told they would get back. But after a week (without a bed) still no answer. A bunk bed you do not feel safe on using is useless.

Buy ikea

Buy ikea, the beds are good for a year or so, then the slats start popping out needing resetting every couple of days. They have some good ideas but don't last.

Really bad quality

Really bad quality. We got the flexa play bed and after a couple of months the bed is shaking and creaking. I called the shop to book an appointment, they said they would call me back but they never did. Really disappointed. If they dont fix the problem I will have to throw the bed away. And it was not cheap at all for an mdf bed.
