If you love experimenting in the bedroom and are the adventurous kinds, we’re sure that a threesome is on your list of sex to-dos. A threesome, however, can be a little tricky, especially if you’re already in a relationship. So before you actually get to it, here's what you must discuss with your partner so that you know they’re on the same page as you.

Threesome

Comfort

The first, and most important, thing to discuss is how comfortable both of you are about having a threesome. If your partner seems interested, great. But if they show even a little reluctance, take that into consideration and try to talk to them about it. But don’t force the idea onto them, and if they still seem unconvinced, drop it.

Third person

So you seem to have crossed the threshold of uncertainty and are into threesome land. Now what? Discuss who the third person is going to be. It can’t be someone only you find attractive, and it has to be a combined decision. Think about it long and hard and approach someone who you think might be into it.

Affection

Next comes a delicate territory, where you discuss how far along you both can go when it comes to showing affection. Can you kiss the third person, or will it be too loving? If you don’t feel comfortable with the idea of you or your partner kissing someone else, you need to talk about it and clear it out.

Boundaries

Set boundaries about how far you can go with the third person, or with each other during the act. Also, talk to your partner if the third person will stay the night or leave.

Discretion

You may want the threesome to be a private thing between you, your partner and the third person. But what if your partner is a blabbermouth? What if the third person is? Discuss confidentiality with your partner and with the person you approach for the threesome.

Impact
A threesome can have either a good impact on your current relationship or an adverse one. While it could potentially affect your relationship in a good way, it could also make way for awkwardness and tension later.

Safe-sex
This may probably one of the most important things to discuss before a threesome. Make sure that the third person has had an STD test done recently, and always use protection no matter how well you know him/her.
