    Hi all,

I have this plant which I can't seems to find any information from the web.
Remember that Juggler told me it was some Nymphoides spp but what is the exact name?

This is actually a nice but fast growing plant. For all who loves bright green leaves in their tank, this is a nice one.

Would appreciate if someone could help to identify them and place the image/informatino about them into the Flora/Fanua gallery.

    Cheers![/img]

    Ranmasatome,

I had Nuphar Japonica before. This plant isn't that definitely. In the picture, it may look like it but I would say this plant is a stem plant.

    Hi Ninjafly

This plant does grow surface leaves if the lights not sufficient.
Easy to propagate too, just cut off the leaf with some stem, let it float for few days, should be able to see roots from the stem portion.

    Hi JHSeah,

Mine doesn't grow any surface leaves. In fact, I realised it just grow more and more leaves when each stem tries to fight for the light. In the end, I have a big bush of light green leaves ( which is very nice ) .

Raphael: I just checked that it resembled the plant in Kasselmann's book. Given on pg 469, the name is Nymphoides sp. "Taiwan" and usually traded under the name Nymphoides sp. "Flipper".

If you guys have the book, can compare the pics.

    Cheers!
