Undulated Crypt (Cryptocoryne undulata ) is a rosette crypt that grow to a respectable size of around 12 inches. It is an excellent midground plant, and sometimes used as a background plant in smaller nano sized aquariums. Its darker red and brown stem with red highlights on green leaves are very eye catching and create depth in the aquarium.
Undulated Crypt is slow to moderate in growth and like most Cryptocoryne species, it should should not be moved constantly. Reproduction is accomplished via "runners" that can be propagated and replanted.
