This 1975 Honda CB400F Super Sport is powered by a 408cc inline-four mated to a six-speed transmission and finished in red with chrome fenders. Features include low-rise handlebars, a four-into-one exhaust system, two-up seating, a front disc brake, and both kick and electric starters as well as a replacement muffler and rear wheel. The bike was acquired by its current owner in April 2020, reportedly from a collector who primarily kept it on display. Subsequent service consisted of carburetor rebuilds and replacement of the fork seals, tires, and battery as well as a tune-up and oil change. This CB400F is offered by the seller on its owner’s behalf with a tool kit, a manual, and transferable Rhode Island registration in the owner’s name.

The 3.8-gallon fuel tank and side covers are finished in Light Ruby Red over a black frame, while the fenders are chrome. Equipment includes a two-up seat with a passenger grab strap, both center and side stands, and amber reflectors mounted to the headlight ears.

Chrome 18″ wire-spoke wheels include a replacement in the rear, and new Avon RoadRider tires are were mounted in September 2020. Suspension consists of a conventional fork with new seals as well as dual chrome shocks mounted to the rear swingarm. Braking is from a hydraulic front disc up front and a drum in the rear.

The chrome low-rise handlebar features round mirrors on either side. Instrumentation comprises a 130-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 10k-rpm redline, and a five-digit odometer showing 6k miles, approximately 500 of which have been ridden under current ownership.

Service in September 2020 included rebuilding and synchronizing the carburetors, replacing the battery, a tune-up, and an oil change. Power is routed to the rear wheel through a six-speed transmission and a drive chain.
