A beautiful plant with small round leaves. It is suitable for small or large aquariums. Relatively demanding in terms of light. CO2 addition a plus to promote growth. We suggest feeding this plant at the roots with some substrate root tabs. Heminathus micranthemoides is a spreading plant native to North America. If planted densely, Hemianthus micranthemoides will grow upright in the aquarium. If planted loosely, Hemianthus micranthemoides will grow in a spreading fashion. The amount of light can also influence the growth of Baby Tears. The higher the light the more likely it is to spread. (Now also available in “pots”, see our “potted plants” section)
